Here we have Ericka and Clay at The Emerson in Terrell, TX. The Emerson is a fairly new wedding venue, its been around for a couple of years, so when I heard of this wedding inspiration, I was so excited!
The overall setting was gracefully put together and looked very elegant, but still remained simple. The color palate was burgundy, pink with neutrals. At the same time, you would find touches of blue and green in the stationery, which blended in perfectly. All of it was very simple. Pink plates and candles, a velvety pink table runner, burgundy and napkins. The cake was a simple 3 tiered buttercream cake adorned with fresh figs and pink and burgundy flowers. There was a drink cart that served pink drinks and cheese topped with fruit and fresh figs. Just the colors and textures of everything alone was enough to give this setting a luxurious look. And of course Ericka and Clay were just a blushingly beautiful fun loving couple.
