American wedding, portrait & travel photographer, Emmarie Jackson talks about photographing A step into spring bridal inspiration.

This beautiful spring inspired bridal is quite similar to the pastel themed wedding inspiration I photographed at Chateau Cocomar, but at a slightly lower scale. The floral arrangements were smaller and the setting had more of a rustic feel because of the textures used. There were no fancy table spreads, but a bare table with pastel runners. Without much grandeur, it kept its simplicity but was still very much gorgeous to photograph.

I photographed this bridal at The Space on the West Main in McKinney, TX. It was a small to medium sized wedding venue. It had a rustic feel, with a touch of European, as I could see in the crown moldings on the walls and ceiling. One side of the room had a raw wall of red brick, which I thought was perfect for any portrait or detail backdrop. I really loved this place.

The flower arrangements (including the bouquet) were pastel colors of pink and peach with violets and blues. The flowers were traditional roses and ranunculus with some dahlias. All the table florals were embedded in wood boxes to match the texture of the table. And of course our bride Maddie was beautiful in her dress, matched with lace boots.

For brides that are looking for a beautiful spring-summer themed wedding inspiration that is fit for small to medium sized guests, this is a perfect idea for you!
